Beschreibung: 

The Cisco 876-K9 is one of the 870 Series of integrated services routers. These fixed-configuration routers can be used to establish secure virtual private network (VPN) connections from small remote offices and teleworkers to larger enterprise networks.

The four-port 10/100-Mbps managed switch provides connections for multiple devices and has the ability to designate a port as the network demilitarised zone (DMZ). Virtual local area network (VLAN) support allows computers to be moved to another location without reconfiguration.

The Cisco Router and Security Device Manager (SDM) Web-based configuration tool simplifies setup and deployment. Its centralised management capabilities give network managers visibility and control of the network configurations at the remote site.

The Cisco 876-K9 model is useful when the connection to the rest of the network is through Ethernet cable or asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) over integrated services digital network (ISDN) line. It also has an integrated ISDN basic rate interface (BRI) S/T port for a backup ISDN line.
